Detour is the sequel to the provocative look at the 2005 Tour de France film 'Detour de France.' In 2007 two of the original detour members, John Trevorrow and Denis Donoghue, saddled up again mixing it with the riders, showing the average joe what it's like to be inside the barriers, on the actual race route.
2007 was an amazing Tour layered with feats of sheer brilliance like Robbie McEwen's "back from the dead" ride to claim the stage in Canterbury. Fabian Cancellara's magnificent run with the yellow jersey. Michael Rasmussen being ejected from the Tour whilst in yellow. Alberto Contador claiming his first Tour de France while Cadel Evans captured the hearts of all Australians with his inspirational grit and determination, becoming the first Australian to stand on the podium in Paris.
Detour the Movie will leave tour fans gasping for more. The DVD is actually three DVDs in one with a full extra movie of the behind the scenes shenanigans plus some classic detour stories and a director's cut with commentary from John Trevorrow, Denis Donoghue and director Dan Jones.
